The Peach Crease Club, the new vinyl listening bar next to Mission Ballroom was such a fun build. We were able to design and build a custom DJ booth and matching shelving that featured a lit display for their branding above on an elegant curved wrap on the shelving wall. Solid brass holds up the shelving and creates an elegant thin layout to the unit.
Bao Brewhouse was designing a new restaurant opening on Tennyson Street and we had the pleasure of building out two large architectural oculus dividers as well as a Chines style roof structure with a charred wood texture (yakisugi/shou sugi ban) that comes out of the wall to cover the bar. Below was some matching charred liquor shelving.
A client wanted a custom bookshelf designed to fit with their pre-existing custom made wood kitchen island that was beautifully made. We took design notes from their work and included them here. There were reveals along the intersections of much of the joinery, as well as the integrated handles in the solid wood doors. Finished with a stunning wood oil and wax combo, the beauty of the wood warms the upper nook perfectly.
This is Ukiyo - a 14 seat Japanese omakase restaurant featuring custom shoji sliding doors, a stunning lit entry, and a massive 5ft tall whiskey shelf. We also clad most of the walls in beautiful cedar wood to give it a warm, inviting vibe.
One of our restaurant clients loved our work so much, they had us do a basement bar addition for them. We came up with a design that packed storage and features into a small space they loved (so much that they added a large mirror in the room to see it twice)! The curved wall feature was a huge hit as well as the accent lighting and elegantly treated access panel.
Making custom wood and steel furniture was a relatively straightforward task for tech store Digitiqe given their existing design aesthetic and minimal look.
